UPDATE: Heartbeat of Folsom

I am sad to be writing this update about the Heartbeat of Folsom project.
In February I noticed that my heart was not at the location that it had been at. I reached out to all the “right” people (the city of Folsom, the chamber of commerce, someone who helped organize the project, and the property manager for that shopping center).
Since reaching out to them, no one can tell me what happened to the heart. Was is stolen/vandalized, moved to a different location, sent to be resealed??? Apparently no one knows anything and no one, except me, seems to be concerned about this.
It is very upsetting that the heart is gone as it was supposed to be a permanent installation and I put a lot of hard work into and became very attached and proud of it.
Our local news stations covered the story in hopes of bringing attention to my missing artwork and gaining more information about what actually happened to the heart.
To this day, I do not know what happened to my heart sculpture.
